BCS Authors Elsewhere – Locus Recommended Reading List

The 2017 Locus Recommended Reading List includes, in addition to the four BCS stories names to the list, a bunch of BCS authors with recommended stories in other magazines:

Novella:

  • Cassandra Khaw (“She Who Hungers, She Who Waits,” forthcoming Spring 2018)
  • Margaret Killjoy (“Men of the Ashen Morrow” in BCS #218 and podcast BCS 190)
  • K.J. Parker (“Told By An Idiot” in BCS#192, “Heaven Thunders The Truth” in BCS #157, “The Thought That Counts” forthcoming in BCS #250, April 2018)
  • Sarah Pinsker (“The Mountains His Crown” in BCS #195 – Science-Fantasy Month 3 and podcast BCS 171, and “Do As I Do, Sing As I Sing” forthcoming in BCS #246 – Science-Fantasy Month 4, March 2018)

      Yep! There were so many BCS authors on the Locus Reading List also for novels–Kameron Hurley, Ann Leckie, Yoon Ha Lee, Carrie Vaughn, Aliette de Bodard, Kat Howard, Cassandra Khaw, Steve Rasnic Tem, Stephanie Burgis, Sam J. Miller, and you–that in the above post I had to stick to just the short fiction categories or the post would’ve been a mile long. :)
