A clever idea turned into a nice story.

This is a wonderful story: soft-spoken with a punch. More like this, please.

This was the first story I read from BCS, and I have to say, I was impressed and I still am. It's very engaging without needing to "thriller-ish" suspense or very high concepts. I also like how the piece tackled themes of gender (or rather, society in general) without actually beating the reader over the head. And the ending was great. I love how the last lines relate to the beginning.
