Two-time BCS author Sarah L. Edwards now has a staff position with The Internet Review of Science Fiction (http://www.irosf.com/q/zine/article/10494).
BCS author and novelist Marie Brennan's BCS Podcast of "Kingspeaker" got a nice mention recently on her novel publisher Orit Books' site (http://www.orbitbooks.net/2008/12/12/orbit-links-for-december-12th-2008/), along with a link to an interview with her about writing.

Upcoming BCS author Holly Phillips has a story in the March issue of Asimov's (http://sfscope.com/2009/01/asimovs-march-2009-issue.html), alongside veteran author Nancy Kress and exciting newcomer Sara Genge. I just bought this issue and I'm very much looking forward to reading their stories.

Can we promote our own stuff in this thread? Because I've got a novella in the Tesseracts Twelve (http://www.amazon.ca/Tesseracts-Twelve-Claude-Lalumi%C3%A8re/dp/1894063155/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1233350314&sr=8-1)anthology of Canadian SF, which came out in November. It was my first professional sale so I'm really excited about it.

By all means mention your own stuff.
A writer buddy of mine, Jay Ridler, has a story in Tesseracts Thirteen coming out this year.

I've been going back and forth on whether to pick up Tesseracts 13, because the promo page for it on the publisher's site says it's "dark fantasy and horror", and while I enjoy (and write) dark fantasy, I tend to steer clear of horror - just not my thing. So I'll probably end up waiting until one of my friends has read it and can tell me whether it leans more toward one category or the other.
