Beneath Ceaseless Skies was reviewed in the January 2009 issue of Locus (http://www.locusmag.com/2009/Issue01_Toc.html), in the Short Fiction Reviews column by Rich Horton. Unfortunately I don't yet have my copy of that issue, so I don't know what it says. :) But I will find out....

Actually, that's why I quit subscribing to Locus--it would take over a month for each issue to reach me from the West Coast, and the cover would be all torn to shreds by the PO. I'll make it by a bookstore at some point and snag myself a nice pristine copy of this issue. :)

My B&N carries it, but I won't expect to see it on the shelves for a while. Good luck ;o)

I finally got a copy of the Jan. issue of Locus, which reviewed a few of the early issues of BCS from last fall. Ace short-fiction reviewer Rich Horton says the magazine "is off to a promising start." He calls Chris Willrich's story "strong," Yoon Ha Lee's story "evocative and original," and Charles Coleman Finlay & Rae Carson Finlay's piece "a fine story."
The review is brief, which I understand since they don't have much space to devote to new or lesser-known markets, but I'm delighted that he enjoyed those stories. Hopefully he'll review us again soon.
