Another very impressive story. I loved the worldbuilding and the hint of deeper things behind the mythology, and I thought that the ending with the five cups and the uncertainty of whether the prince had been cursed added extra poignancy to a very nice story.

Very glad you enjoyed it!

I hope you don't mind that I changed the text-color of your comment about the ending to white so that no one will see the spoilers unless they paint that text with their mouse cursor. Just to be extra safe that we don't spoil it for anyone. :)

Great story with very intriguing twist at the end.

I think the shadow play was a highlight for me; I really felt mesmerized by what the witch was doing.
