This thread is to discuss "More Than Once Upon a Time," by S.C. Butler, which appears in BCS Issue #15 (http://www.beneath-ceaseless-skies.com/forums/../toc.php?s=15) from Apr. 23, 2009. It is set in the same world as his Stoneways Trilogy (http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gw?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=stoneways+trilogy&x=0&y=0) of fantasy novels, published by Tor.

An interesting exercise in digging a hole, and of course once she had started she had to finish!!! ;)

I really enjoyed this one! I was familiar with the setting of the story from reading Reiffen's Choice awhile back. That reminds me I must go out and get Queen Ferris soon.

The story actually fills in the back story of a character who shows up in the third book, The Magicians' Daughter.
