Neil Clarke of Clarkesworld Magazine (http://www.clarkesworldmagazine.com/), who has lead the charge all spring and summer to Save the Hugo Award for Semipro Zines (http://semiprozine.org/), reports in a Facebook post yesterday (http://www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=226534185550&ref=mf) that after the appropriate committee meeting at WorldCon, the Semipro Zine Hugo was saved!
The vote to keep it apparently won with a large majority. Neil also reports that there was a new committee appointed to redefine the award and related Hugos.
Thanks very much to Neil for his championing of this cause from the beginning! All the semipro zines, his and every one of the others, are the better for his tireless work.
