An engaging story. Meurig was very believable, and I could feel his confusion and pain. It was interesting to see the way Christianity was slowly revealed to him. The beginning was difficult, however, and I saw no link between Meurig and the situation with de Moissen into which he was thrust. Nor did I see why Rhiannon had to be entrapped in the sword. I liked the way the monks were portrayed as compassionate and not bigoted or bumbling. All-in-all, a thumbs-up.
