This is one of the best stories I've read here. I tend to scroll down a page at a time, but as I got to the end of this one, I was doling it out a paragraph at a time at the bottom of my screen, so my eyes wouldn't leap ahead and spoil the ending. :-)

I liked this encapsulated gem of a story. The tone must have been hard to hit so exactly, and was maintained well as the ficus of the obsessionof the protagonist, shifts. Well done.
