Christopher Green's story "Father's Kill (http://www.beneath-ceaseless-skies.com/story.php?s=48)," from BCS #24 and BCS Audio Fiction Podcast #22 (http://www.beneath-ceaseless-skies.com/audio.php#bcs022), (which received a great review in The Internet Review of SF (http://www.irosf.com/q/zine/article/10583#bcs)), has been nominated for an Aurealis Award for Best Fantasy Short Story of 2009.
The Aurealis Awards (http://www.aurealisawards.com/finalists_winners.htm) are for the best Australian science fiction and fantasy of the year. Other nominees this year include Ian McHugh (author of "Songdogs (http://www.beneath-ceaseless-skies.com/story.php?s=57)" in BCS #27) and anthology editor Jonathan Strahan.
