"Father's Kill (http://www.beneath-ceaseless-skies.com/story.php?s=48)" by Christopher Green, from BCS #24 and BCS Audio Fiction Podcast #22 (http://www.beneath-ceaseless-skies.com/audio.php#bcs022), won the Aurealis Award for Best Fantasy Short Story of 2009 (http://www.aurealisawards.com/finalists_winners.htm)!
The Aurealis Awards (http://www.aurealisawards.com/finalists_winners.htm) are for the best Australian science fiction and fantasy of the year. This year's vote actually resulted in joint winners for Best Fantasy story. The other winner was Ian McHugh (author of "Songdogs (http://www.beneath-ceaseless-skies.com/story.php?s=57)" in BCS #27) for "Once a Month, On a Sunday" in Andromeda Spaceways Inflight Magazine.
