Pt. II of "Sanji's Demon" by Richard Parks is now out in BCS #39 (http://www.beneath-ceaseless-skies.com/toc.php?s=39) from Mar. 25, 2010.

How will Lord Yamada solve this one? Read Pt. II and find out! :)

So very glad to read these--I read both parts one and two in one go just now. A real pleasure. They're great mysteries, and I love the Heian atmosphere. Glad to hear that another one will be forthcoming in the future!

I am such a fan of these stories. Japanese history and folklore are on my list of random interests, so having a semi-regular source of fiction on the topic makes me very happy indeed!

And I began to guess there was taxidermical trickery going on once Yamada-san got into the storeroom, but the addition of the abbot's arrival added a nice little extra twist to spice up the ending.
