The Harper's Pen Award (formerly the Ham-Sized Fist Award) is given for best Heroic Fantasy or Sword and Sorcery short fiction of the year. Also among the eight finalists (http://sorcerersguild.blogspot.com/2010/03/harpers-pen-award-2009-finalists.html) is James Lecky, author of "The Bone House" (http://www.beneath-ceaseless-skies.com/story.php?s=42) in BCS #20.
