Issue #1 is getting some great comments so far in lots of different blogs.

Writer Bill Ward's blog discussed it here (http://billwardwriter.com/beneath-ceaseless-skies-debut-issue/), as he posted about yesterday on these very forums, and upcoming author S.C. Butler gives it a mention here (http://scbutler.livejournal.com/53745.html). There's also a nice review on Free SF Reader here (http://freesf.blogspot.com/2008/10/beneath-ceaseless-skies-1-scott-h.html).

I've heard of a couple other blogs posts in the works; I'll update this post as soon as they come through.

Thanks everyone for all the great comments--feel free to keep them coming!

Thanks all!

I finally got around to blogging a real review of the issue--the post is here: http://kcshaw.blogspot.com/2008/10/beneath-ceaseless-skies-issue-1.html. Great first issue! I can't wait to read the second half of The Sword of Loving Kindness in particular!

Thanks so much!

I absolutely love your line "Stuff happens in these stories, and the writing is great." That's such a perfect tagline for BCS that I almost want to put it on bumper stickers and t-shirts! :)

lol, feel free to use it if you like! If you put it on a t-shirt, I should get a discount. :)

A couple more blog posts from the weekend:

from Erin N. Hoffman (http://zhai.livejournal.com/326933.html), who has a story "Stormchaser, Stormshaper" forthcoming early next spring.

from Kamilla Z. Miller (http://kzmillers.blogspot.com/2008/10/this-is-not-my-beautiful-house.html), who also has a story forthcoming late next spring.

Thanks!

Another cool blog post, this one from Fabien Lyraudand, and it's in French (http://propos-iconoclastes.blogspot.com/2008/10/critique-vo-beneath-ceaseless-skies-n-1.html). My high-school French is decades old, but I think it's a very positive review!
