I do want to release Beneath Ceaseless Skies in some way through eBook formats, so I’m interested in any opinions on peoples’ preferred formats or eBook sites/services.

Several other SF/F magazines use Fictionwise.com, which provides about a dozen different unencrypted formats, and those magazines charge $3-4 for 6-9 stories. I would bundle at least two issues (4 stories) or maybe four (8 stories) into each eBook and charge as little as possible, say $2 or $4.

Or I could release eBooks through the magazine’s website here, but I would have to learn about perparing eBook formatting, which would be a distant third priority behind doing all the web fiction and audio podcasting.

Do any eBook readers out there have any opinions? On anything, including formats or eBook web services?
