Chris Willrich’s story “The Sword of Loving Kindness,” from BCS #1, received an honorable mention in The Year’s Best Science Fiction and Fantasy, 2009 Edition, edited by Rich Horton.

(Yoon Ha Lee’s story “Architectural Constants” already received an honorable mention in that same Year’s Best anthology.)
