Beneath Ceaseless Skies got a great endorsement last week for the Hugo Award nominations. In a comment on John Scalzi’s blog, John Klima said that BCS deserves to be on the final ballot for Best Semiprozine.
That is an awesome endorsement. John is the editor of the highly regarded ‘zine Electric Velocipede. As the man behind a “sole proprietorship” ‘zine for many years, I’m certain he knows what it takes to pull that off. And, with EV winning a Hugo last year for Best Fanzine, he has first-hand knowledge of what’s Hugo-worthy.
Check out what he said, as well as several other endorsements of BCS in that thread. If you find us worthy, please put BCS on your ballot for Best Semiprozine, and Scott H. Andrews (me!) for Best Editor, Short Form.
Nominations are due in by Mar. 13. For details on how to nominate and what stories from BCS are eligible, see this post. Thanks for your consideration!
