The second anniversary of BCS is already popping up in a few blogs.

John O’Neill, editor and publisher of Black Gate magazine, blogged it over the weekend. Black Gate has long been the bastion of adventure fantasy short fiction. They and BCS have published several of the same authors, including Matthew David Surridge, Renee Stern, and Chris Willrich.

Lou Anders, award-winning Editorial Director of Pyr Books, has a great post Why I love Beneath Ceaseless Skies. He makes a neat comment on “literary adventure fantasy,” the niche that BCS specializes in, and mentions ebooks in general and the Best of BCS anthology.

Both John and Lou are long-time stalwarts of adventure fantasy short fiction, so praise from them is high praise indeed. Thanks very much!
