For any BCS readers interested in nominating for the 2011 World Fantasy Awards, here are details on how you can nominate and links to several of our best-reviewed stories of the year.
Are You Eligible to Nominate?
If you were a member of World Fantasy Con last year (2010, Columbus, Ohio) or in 2009 (San Jose), or are a member this year (2011, San Diego), you are eligible to nominate.
WFC mailed out paper ballots last month to last year’s members and to this year’s members along with Progress Report #2. The ballot is also downloadable from the WFC 2011 website.
Deadline to Nominate:
Ballots must be postmarked or emailed by May 31, 2011.
How to Nominate:
Download the ballot from the WFC 2011 website or use the paper one they mailed you, fill it out, and either mail or email it to the address listed on the ballot. By May 31, 2011.
What BCS Stories are Eligible:
Everything published in 2010, which is BCS Issue #34 through Issue #59, inclusive.
Here’s a small list of a few of our best-reviewed stories of 2010, including which WFA category they fit in (Short Story or Novella–note that the categories are different from the ones for Hugos or Nebulas).
