BCS #96 is out today, featuring a story by Adam Callaway set in his Ars Lacuna world of strange paper-based magic.  His previous BCS story, “Walls of Paper, Soft as Skin” in BCS #73 and BCS Podcast 063, was set in this world and was selected for The Year’s Best Dark Fantasy and Horror 2012. 

The issue also includes a story by Kenneth Schneyer and a podcast of the Callaway story.  The ‘From the Archives’ story for this issue is “Preservation” by Jonathan Wood, from BCS #11 and BCS Podcast 011.  It has a delightfully similar creepiness as the Callaway story; well worth a (re)read or (re)listen.
