BCS #103 is out today. It features fiction by Dean Wells, a story set in the same post-industrial alternate steampunk world as his well-reviewed BCS story from last year, “To the Gods of Time and Engines, a Gift.” Alongside it is an intriguingly strange Weird West story by new writer Don Allmon with the cool title “Bandit and the Seventy Raccoon War.”

The BCS Audio Fiction Podcast this month is a reading of the Dean Wells story done by T.D. Edge, the British BCS author and podcast narrator who’s read several of our past podcast episodes, including “More Full of Weeping Than You Can Understand” by Rosamund Hodge and “Mr Morrow Becomes Acquainted with the Delicate Art of Squid Keeping” by Geoffrey Maloney.

Next issue, we’ll have a new Driftwood story by Marie Brennan and a story by Seth Dickinson, who wrote “The Traitor Baru Cormorant, Her Field-General, and Their Wounds” in BCS #85, one of our oddest and coolest stories of last fall.
