BCS #106 is out today, featuring stories by two returning BCS authors.

Nebula finalist Nancy Fulda (“Knowing Neither Kin Nor Foe” in BCS #40) returns with”A Song of Blackness,” a tale of bitter drive, and Nicole M. Taylor (“A Spoonful of Salt” in BCS #79, our Third Anniversary Double-Issue) offers Hold a Candle to The Devil, dark yet equally vivid as “Salt.”

The audio fiction podcast is Marissa Lingen’s story BCS 091: Cursed Motives, read by guest narrator Tina Connolly. Her narration (along with her stories) has appeared in BCS before (BCS 084: One Ear Back), and her flash podcast venture Toasted Cake won the 2012 Parsec Award for Best New Podcaster.

In conjunction with the podcast reading, we’re giving away a signed personalized copy of Tina’s new fantasy novel, Ironskin. It’s a steampunk adaptation of Jane Eyre with fairies. Learn how you can enter here.

Also, the BCS anthology sale at WeightlessBooks.com ends tomorrow.
