Several BCS authors have had short fiction appear elsewhere in the last month, including:
Marie Brennan (“The Ascent of Unreason” in BCS #104 and “And Blow Them at the Moon” in BCS #50, set in the world of her Oynx Court novels): an excerpt from her new novel “A Natural History of Dragons” posted on Tor.com
- Matthew Kressel (“The Suffering Gallery” in BCS #57): an SF story “The Sounds of Old Earth” in Lightspeed
- K.J. Kabza (“The Leafsmith in Love” in BCS #39) and Chris Willrich (“How the Wicker Knight Would Not Move” in BCS #99 and “The Sword of Loving Kindness” in BCS #1-2): both with stories in the Nov/Dec issue of F&SF, their latest of several appearances each in F&SF
- Jesse Bullington (“The Adventures of Ernst, Who Began a Man, Became a Cyclops, and Finished a Hero” in BCS #62): an interview on Problematic Protagonists at FantasyLiterature.com
All definitely worth a look!
