BCS author Bradley P. Beaulieu (“From the Spices of Sanandira”  in BCS #70-71),  also the author of the Lays of Anuskaya epic fantasy trilogy, set in a world that feels like a blend of fantasy and Muscovite Russia, has sold a new trilogy to DAW Books (the publisher of BCS author Saladin Ahmed‘s Crescent Moon Kingdoms trilogy).

This new trilogy’s setting is based on the desert world in his BCS story “From the Spices of Sanandira.” The story features sand-ships that sail the desert on skids and a political fantasy backstory that affects the current balance of power.  According to this recent interview, it sounds like the new trilogy will feature many of the same elements.
