Noreen Doyle returns to her Antique Lands setting, featured in “‘His Crowning Glory': a new tale of the Antique Lands” in BCS #111, but with a different locale and type of characters in “Gods of the Lower Case.”

Barbara A. Barnett offers the fable-tinged “The Girl Who Welcomed Death to Svalgearyen” in a a snowy, dark-shrouded landscape.
