Persimmon Gaunt and Imago Bone, Chris Willrich’s rougish duo of poet and thief who appeared in F&SF and in the very first issue of BCS five years ago, now travel the new lands of an eastern country and the new lands of parenthood in Chris’s debut novel The Scroll of Years.

In conjunction with the fifth anniversary of BCS, we are giving away two copies of The Scroll of Years, signed and personalized by Chris!

One giveaway will be held next week on the BCS Twitter feed @BCSmagazine, details to come.

The other giveaway is right here in this post. To enter, comment on this post and say what your favorite fantasy fiction duo is. (For the Full Rules, click on ‘Show Hidden Text’ at the end of this post.) That will enter you in a random drawing for the book. This giveaway ended Wed. Oct. 9.

To get you started, here are a few BCS stories that feature a duo of rougish protagonists:

The Sword of Loving Kindness” by Chris Willrich

Where Virtue Lives” by Saladin Ahmed

The Jewels of Montforte” by Adam Corbin Fusco

The Mansion of Bones” by Richard Parks (and many others)

Good luck!

Full rules for the signed Chris Willrich The Scroll of Years giveaway:
