BCS #139 is out today, featuring a returning BCS author and a new one.

Dean Wells (“When Averly Fell from the Sky” in BCS #103; “To the Gods of Time and Engines, a Gift” in BCS #80) returns to that darkly intense character and galacticly Victorian steampunk world with a tale of wrought love called “Evensong, Having Been Answered.”

K.C. Ball, new to BCS, offers “Sweetwater Notion and the Hallelujah Kid,” a somewhat Guilded Age caper that takes place in a wildly imaginative setting: on the moon.

The BCS Audio Fiction Podcast episode is BCS 118: Enginesong by Nathaniel Lee, his Weird Western tale from BCS #138.

The ‘From the Archives’ story with BCS #139 is “The Mathematics of Faith” by Jonathan Wood, from BCS #26; a tale of wrought love not unlike “Evensong, Having Been Answered.”
