Bestselling author K.J. Parker (the ‘Engineer’ trilogy of Devices and Desires, Evil for Evil, The Escapement, among other trilogies), who has also published a number of brilliant short stories and won the World Fantasy Award for novella two years in a row, appears in BCS this week with a new story “Heaven Thunders the Truth” in BCS #157, our Sixth Anniversary Double-Issue.
In celebration, we are giving away a copy of Parker’s signed, hardback limited-edition short fiction collection Academic Exercises.
Academic Exercises is a gorgeous hardback limited edition that runs over 500 pages and includes the World Fantasy Award-winning novellas “Let Maps to Others” and “A Small Price to Pay for Birdsong.”
This giveaway will take place Tuesday Oct. 14 on the BCS Twitter feed @BCSmagazine. It will run from 2 PM EST until 6 PM EST.
To enter, all you need to do is tweet what your favorite K.J. Parker story or novella is. Whether “Heaven Thunders the Truth” or one from another magazine or anthology. (For the Full Rules, click on ‘Show Hidden Text’ at the end of this post.)

You must mention the title of a work of short fiction by K.J. Parker. Comments that do not mention the title of a work of short fiction by K.J. Parker will not enter you in the giveaway.
You must tweet your tweet between 2PM Eastern Standard Time and 6PM Eastern Standard Time on Tues. Oct. 14. Any tweets posted before or after that will not be eligible.
All entries will be entered in a random drawing to win the book.
Each person will be entered only once in the random drawing (even if you post more than one eligible tweet).
Any person who has won any previous giveaway from BCS in September 2014 or October 2014 is not eligible to win.
