BCS reported our circulation statistics for 2014 to Locus magazine, for their annual February issue that lists such data for magazines in F/SF short fiction. We will also post them here.

In 2014, BCS published 26 issues, containing 58 pieces of fiction (37 stories, 20 novelettes, and one novella; all originals). We also released 36 podcast episodes (24 originals and 12 episodes of The BCS Audio Vault), and our fifth Best of BCS ebook anthology.

BCS averaged 38,000 unique web visitors per month in 2014, up from 32,000 in 2013.

The BCS podcast averaged 6500 downloads per episode, up from 5500 in 2013. Many episodes from past years continued to receive 2000-5000 new downloads in 2014.

Highlights of 2014 included a second Hugo nomination for Best Semiprozine, a fourth World Fantasy Award nomination, and stories named BSFA and Aurealis Award finalists.
