BCS #190 is out today, featuring two ghostly stories, a podcast narrated by the author, and a ghostly story From the Archives.

Mike Allen (“The Ivy-Smothered Palisade” BCS #93) returns to BCS with “Longsleeves,” set in the same milieu, a ghostly story of family debt and curse. Walter Dinjos offers “The Mama Mmiri,” a story of a bereaved brother facing a hungry river spirit.

The BCS Audio Fiction Podcast episode is BCS 164: The Mama Mmiri, the Walter Dinjos story. It’s guest-narrated by the author himself, adding a unique flavor to the world.

The From the Archives story with BCS #190 is “A Marble for the Drowning River” by Ann Chatham, from BCS #94 and podcast BCS 082, a story of riverine ghosts not unlike “The Mama Mmiri.”
