BCS #210 is out today, featuring a returning BCS author (from Issue #13!) and a new one.
Stephanie Burgis, whose story “The Five Days of Justice Merriwell” appeared in BCS #13 almost eight years ago, returns to BCS with “A Cup of Comfort,” a taut tale of intrigue simmering between two mysterious tea-house patrons. Martin Cahill offers “A Glass Kiss for the Little Prince of Pain,” a longer tale of the duty and cost of intrigue.
The BCS Audio Fiction Podcast episode is BCS 184: A Cup of Comfort, the Stephanie Burgis story of two characters unlayering their hidden conflict over tea.
The From the Archives story with BCS #210 is “In the Gardens of the Night” by Siobhan Carroll, from BCS #74, a tale of intrigue and layers and cost not unlike “A Cup of Comfort” or “A Glass Kiss for the Little Prince of Pain.”
All behind a new crop of our new cover art, “Ambush” by Raphael Lacoste.
