BCS #240 is out today, featuring two returning BCS authors with tales of journey and relationship, behind new cover art.

M. Bennardo (“A Guest of the Cockroach Club” in BCS #160, “The Use and the Need” in BCS #148 and podcast BCS 128, “The Penitent” in BCS #122 and podcast BCS 106: , among others) offers “Low Bridge! Or The Dark Obstructions,” in which a burgeoning relationship grows during honeymoon travel on a 19th Century canal boat.

Stephen Case returns to the world and characters of his BCS stories “The Aeroliths” in BCS #212, “The Wizard’s House” in BCS #166, and “The Unborn God” in BCS #150 with “The Wind’s Departure,” a sequel tale about the wizard, his wind companion, and his former master and god.

From the Archives with BCS #240 is “The Dreams of Wan Li” by Andrea Stewart, from BCS #146, another tale of a nascent relationship within a life confined.
