To celebrate the release of BCS author Charles Payseur’s new short story collection The Burning Day and Other Strange Stories, BCS is giving away a signed advance copy of the collection.

The Burning Day covers a range of genres and perspectives and includes the BCS stories “Rivers Run Free” and “Undercurrents,” both set in a world where rivers are sentient characters and can transform into humanoid form. Other non-human points of view that the collection explores include cartoon coyotes, sentient stars, and half-ghosts.

This giveaway will take place Tuesday July 20 on the BCS Twitter feed @BCSmagazine. It will run from 2 PM EST until 5 PM EST.

To enter the giveaway, all you need to do is tweet your favorite BCS story that has a non-human main character or protagonist. However you choose to define that, by any author, in any issue of BCS
