Emily B. Cataneo is a writer and journalist whose work has appeared in or is forthcoming from magazines such as Nightmare, Interfictions: A Journal of Interstitial Arts, The Dark, and Interzone. She was longlisted for Best American Science Fiction and Fantasy 2016, and her debut short story collection, Speaking to Skull Kings, is available now from JournalStone. She is a 2013 graduate of the Odyssey Writing Workshop and a 2016 graduate of the Clarion Writers Workshop, and is currently pursuing her MFA at NC State in Raleigh.
