Sam Chapman lives in Portland, Oregon, with his fiancee and a willful gray cat. His short fiction has appeared in Metaphorosis, Allegory, Daikaijuzine, and several other venues. His nonfiction can be found on Tor.com or on his blog, To Find The Colors Again. He is currently a student at the Stonecoast MFA program in Popular Fiction, and is revising a flintlock fantasy heist novel that pits six super-powered women against the king who wronged them. It also has sword fights.
